Hybrid Flooring
4 Reasons to Buy Hybrid Flooring
Make that four reasons, because here’s Reason 1 to buy hybrid flooring: one that is sheer common sense. It’s not carpet. Carpet is the number one choice of flooring in cold countries, but Australia is not a cold country. We’re a lucky country, blessed with a largely excellent climate that means we’re not huddled in stone cottages, shivering our way through interminable winters of wind, rain, snow, hail, sleet and other nasty weather experiences, wearing two pairs of socks and outdoor boots indoors because our feet are cold. Okay, climates in certain parts of the country might be unpredictable, but freezing we’re not and the comforting characteristics of carpet are largely unnecessary here.
Another Reason to buy hybrid flooring: Resilience
So here is the real reason to buy hybrid flooring: practicality. This is the flooring material that can take whatever is thrown at it, dropped on it and trodden all over it. Humans don’t mean to be, well… mean to floors. It’s just the way things are. We have to walk on floors, and, gravity being what it is in terms of everything heading south, we apply our weight to the dirt that inevitably falls on the floor, along with crumbs and the skin particles which fall from our self-replenishing bodies to form the bulk of what we call dust. And that’s not to mention the liquids, which range from spilt drinks to bodily fluids such as saliva and even the germ-laden fine mist that finds its way out of us via sneezing. At least with a nice hybrid floor, we can have a good clean-up with a mop, a bucket and some chemical or other. Imagine what’s lurking in those carpets that are keeping our northern cousins frostbite-free. Shampoo the floor? That’s just bizarre.
Appearance is also the Reason to Get Hybrid Floors
It looks great. There is no accounting for taste, of course, but you would be hard-pressed to find a piece of hybrid flooring that was hideous. Not your cup of tea, maybe. Wouldn’t go with the rest of the décor, okay. But ugly, no. The latest printing systems give an uncannily good facsimile of all kinds of wood and stone, none of which can be classed as horrible and 99% of which are actually pretty nice.
Hybrid Flooring also gives you value for money, considering that it’s going to last a long time and make a major contribution to the ambience of your home or place of business, hybrid flooring in general is a bit of a bargain.
